Sprinkler and irrigation repair in Danville

A big backyard that never waters evenly, two timers that do not agree with each other, or a hillside that sends water down the driveway? We rework and repair irrigation for Danville homes, from Sycamore Valley to the east side along Camino Tassajara.

Looking after Tri-Valley yards since October 2003.

Work we have done in Danville

One yard, one schedule

Two timers consolidated into one

A large backyard had its irrigation split across two separate timers, and it was watering inconsistently because the two never ran as one system. We reconfigured the whole system onto a single controller, so the entire yard now runs on one coordinated schedule. It was a rework of how the system is organized, not a part swap.

Water in Danville

Danville is on EBMUD water

The Town of Danville is served by East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), whose water starts in the Mokelumne River watershed in the Sierra Nevada. For water emergencies such as a main break, the town directs residents to EBMUD.

EBMUD's permanent water-use rules apply in Danville. Irrigation must not cause more than incidental runoff onto neighboring property, hard surfaces or unplanted areas. There is no watering during or within 48 hours after measurable rain, and an irrigation system with a measurable leak must not be turned back on until it is repaired.

Danville has plenty of hillside property. The town has a Scenic Hillside and Major Ridgeline ordinance, and on a slope, water runs off before it soaks in. Shorter, repeated watering cycles and drip on planted banks keep the water in the yard and out of the street.
